Milano average 4,985
Bicocca 3,750
Corvetto 3,750

What a bilocale, trilocale or quadrilocale costs in NoLo

§ Room count

Milan listings are often described by room count rather than raw surface — a bilocale (one bedroom plus a living room, typically 45–60 m²), a trilocale (two bedrooms, typically 65–90 m²), or a quadrilocale (three bedrooms, typically 95–130 m²).

Type m² €
monolocale optional — thin demand at this size 30 – 45 108,000 – 207,000
bilocale 45 – 60 162,000 – 276,000
trilocale 65 – 90 234,000 – 414,000
quadrilocale 95 – 130 342,000 – 598,000
These surface ranges are stimmo's own presentational convention for common Milan room-count terms, not an official OMI or Agenzia delle Entrate classification.

About NoLo

§ Local context

NoLo is the youngest neighbourhood here, and not by building age: the name was coined in 2012 by Luisa Milani, Walter Molteni and Francesco Cavalli, in a SoHo café in New York, as a joke — "North of Loreto", on the model of SoHo or Tribeca. It spread by word of mouth, with no campaign or strategy behind it, and entered the city's planning framework on 14 October 2019. Before that it had no name of its own: people said Pasteur, Rovereto, or Turro.

The fabric is largely early-twentieth-century liberty, with some rationalist episodes. The recognisable core sits around via Venini, piazza Morbegno and via Giacosa, all in the same OMI zone; NoLo's boundaries, though, are informal and inconsistent between sources, so treat them as perception rather than perimeter.

What to check: in a district that has re-rated quickly, the asking price can run ahead of value — check the lift, the energy class and the state of the building. Metro Pasteur and Rovereto (M1).
