Where CityLife sits in Milano

§ Comparison
Area €/m²
CityLife 8,300 – 12,500
Milano average 4,985
Brera 10,750
Duomo / Centro Storico 8,800
Porta Venezia 7,250
"Nearby" here means closest by €/m² level, not physical distance — stimmo doesn't have a neighborhood-adjacency map, and price proximity is the comparison that matters when you're deciding where else to look.

What a bilocale, trilocale or quadrilocale costs in CityLife

§ Room count

Milan listings are often described by room count rather than raw surface — a bilocale (one bedroom plus a living room, typically 45–60 m²), a trilocale (two bedrooms, typically 65–90 m²), or a quadrilocale (three bedrooms, typically 95–130 m²).

Type m² €
monolocale optional — thin demand at this size 30 – 45 249,000 – 562,500
bilocale 45 – 60 373,500 – 750,000
trilocale 65 – 90 539,500 – 1,125,000
quadrilocale 95 – 130 788,500 – 1,625,000
These surface ranges are stimmo's own presentational convention for common Milan room-count terms, not an official OMI or Agenzia delle Entrate classification.

This is Agenzia delle Entrate's official surface-class breakdown for Milano as a whole (2025-Q4), not specific to CityLife — shown as independent corroboration, not a substitute for the row above.

About CityLife

§ Local context

CityLife is the only neighbourhood here built entirely from scratch, and its history is that of the site beneath it: the Alfa Romeo Portello works, then the Fiera Campionaria trade fair. When the fair moved to Rho in 2005 it released some 255,000 square metres in the middle of the city; the CityLife consortium won the tender in 2004 and work began in 2007.

That makes the district uneven in age, which is the part that matters to a buyer: the first Libeskind residences were delivered by 2014 and the last in November 2023, while the office towers date from 2015, 2017 and 2020. The residential core around piazza Tre Torri and via Senofonte sits in a single OMI zone; other spaces colloquially called CityLife, such as piazzale Giulio Cesare, already fall into the neighbouring one.

What to check: none of the historic-stock problems apply here, but service charges, declared energy classes and the delivery year do. Metro Tre Torri (M5), Amendola (M1).
